Bio

Who is Gabi?

Gabi is a nonbinary musician who was born in the Hampton area of Virginia, but grew up in Southwest Florida. At the Age of 6 fae learned to play the baritone ukulele which eventually led to faer starting up in the symphonic wind band at Lee Middle School with the clarinet(because fae could not just focus on the upright bass/bass guitar for faer true prize: jazz). After growing on the clarinet, Gabi moved on to learning the bass guitar, tenor saxophone, euphonium, and trombone, all in middle school. From middle school, fae would go on to attend and eventually graduate from Lehigh Senior High school Center for the Performing Arts, continuing to hone faer skills in jazz and also learning to play the upright bass, bass clarinet, guitar, and oboe in both a classical setting and a jazz setting. Throughout middle school and high school Gabi also volunteered and worked at First United Methodist Church of Fort Myers as an audio visual engineer and worship team member, performing music for the churches needs and learning performance skills(even if the church was never the right place for faer, as a queer individual). Gabi would take a considerable amount of time away from the performing arts to pursue dreams of being a tournament official for many trading card games and video games, but ultimately has returned home to the soothing soundscape that fae knows and loves.
